Job Description

The Legal Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting our Contract Lifecycle Management, focusing on contract creation and negotiation. This includes working closely with our Commercial team to execute and manage existing contracts, ensuring swift collection of electronic signatures, and actively supporting internal teams throughout the contract lifecycle.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Contract Management:
      • Create and manage contracts and amendments for customers
      • Negotiate redlines and ensure timely completion of contract details
    • Advisory Services:
      • Support our Data Protection Officer in reviewing and adhering to data processing/GDPR agreements
      • Develop and improve legal workflows, department processes, and collaboration between legal, sales, finance, and other departments
    • Invoice Management:
      • Process and issue invoices to customers; follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
      • Support trade/supplier compliance needs and other general operational/business activities

Requirements:

  • Current student studying law at Copenhagen University or HA(jur) or cand.merc.(jur.) at CBS
  • Experience or education with corporate contract law - specific to commercial software agreements
  • Experience or education within data protection/GDPR
  • Thorough understanding of legal operations and interactions with sales and other teams
  • Demonstrated strong drafting skills (contracts, policies, disclosures) and verbal/written communication skills for both legal and non-legal audiences
