Position Overview
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our advanced biotech instrumentation across the Nordic region. Your role will encompass a variety of critical tasks aimed at maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, installations, and equipment upgrades, ensuring compliance with IQOQ standards.
  • Perform timely corrective maintenance to restore systems to full functionality, addressing instrumentation challenges through both hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Facilitate effective communication with both research and clinical clients to guarantee prompt resolution of issues and thorough follow-up.
  • Maintain precise logs, performance data, service records, and parts usage documentation to support operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and application specialists, sharing insights about customer needs and actively participating in service contract renewals and upgrades.
  • Primarily operate within Denmark and southern Sweden, with potential travel throughout the Nordics and internationally as required.

Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in Engineering or Electrical Engineering; a background in Biotechnology is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment support for biotech instrumentation, including field service repair and troubleshooting of fluid control systems; experience with flow cytometry or lasers is a plus.
  • Strong skills in computer networking, troubleshooting, and effective communication.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% within the Nordics, with occasional international travel; a valid driving license is necessary.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Danish, Swedish, or other Nordic languages is beneficial.
