Medical Account Specialist

About this role Your Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for driving patient uptake, sales, and pre-launch market development targets and projects for prioritized accounts. This includes building in-depth scientific knowledge within specified therapy areas (brand, disease area, guidelines, competition, etc.) and leveraging it in account and medical engagement planning.
- Develop and execute strategic and tactical key account plans and leverage cross-functional capabilities in the organization to achieve business objectives.
- Secure alignment with national brand strategies defined by marketing managers and colleagues in market access, medical, HCS partnership, and public affairs.
- Validate external needs/difficulties and lead implementation of solutions (digital and non-digital) tailored to customer needs.
- Obtain solid insights regarding the market and patient dynamics and overall competitive situation in prioritized accounts, including mapping of HCPs.
- Provide accurate and timely data for the Novartis CRM system.
- Leverage Novartis' omnichannel strategy in account planning and maintain a strong focus on digital solutions.
Essential Requirements:
- Educational background in Life Sciences.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MSL or KAM from the healthcare industry.
- Good understanding of the healthcare system.
- Proficient in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
- Scientific knowledge.
Desirable Requirements:
- Cardiology therapeutic area expertise.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
