Position Overview

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of equipment through various technical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, installations, and equipment upgrades, including IQOQ processes.
  • Perform time-sensitive corrective maintenance to restore systems to full functionality, addressing instrumentation challenges through both hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Maintain effective communication with both research and clinical clients to ensure timely resolution of issues and follow-up to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare, update, and manage precise logs, equipment performance metrics, service records, and parts usage documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and application specialists, providing insights into customer needs and actively participating in service contract renewals and upgrades.
  • The primary territory includes Denmark and southern Sweden, with potential travel across the Nordics and internationally as needed.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required; a background in Biotechnology is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment support for biotech instrumentation, field service repair, fluid control systems, and system-level electrical/mechanical troubleshooting; experience with flow cytometry and/or lasers is a plus.
  • Strong computer networking, troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% within the Nordics, with occasional international travel; a valid driving license is required.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Danish, Swedish, or other Nordic languages is beneficial.
