We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director Scandinavia to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment. As a leading manufacturer of safety shoes in Europe, we are committed to delivering exceptional quality and service to our customers.
Sales Position
This is an exciting opportunity to develop the Scandinavian market and support the current Sales Manager in Denmark. The office is located in Southern Jutland, but you will have the flexibility to plan your own working week and routes.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales for assigned territories and promote employees to provide sales support where necessary.
- Monitor order processing and involve the CEO if difficulties arise.
- Recognize purchasing policy behavior of customers and inform the CEO to adjust sales strategy.
- Record visit reports and route planning according to company regulations.
- Acquire new customers independently or in consultation with the CEO.
- Prepare offers and negotiate them to monitor development.
- Maintain email correspondence and provide transparent insights.
- Work cooperatively with office and field staff to resolve problems immediately.
- Participate in trade fairs and stay informed about sales technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree within trade, commercial or sales.
- 5-7 years of experience within sales.
- Preferably experience within the industry of safety gear (shoes, gloves, glasses, or helmets).
- Knowledge about the market and Nordic countries.
- Being well prepared, structured, and able to create tailor-made solutions for each customer.
- Fluent in written and spoken Danish and English.
