Job Title: Research Project Manager - Hamlet Protein

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for animal nutrition and research? Do you have a strong background in feed industry experience and a PhD in animal nutrition? We are seeking a highly skilled Research Project Manager to join our team at Hamlet Protein A/S.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage feeding trials sponsored by Hamlet Protein, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with our Feeding Trial Policy.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring it is valid and accurately reflects the results of our feeding trials.
  • Balance the feeding trial portfolio to maximize value creation in quality, cost, and strategic focus.
  • Coordinate and consolidate feeding trial portfolios with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as customers, universities, and farms, to design and approve feeding trials.
  • Select trial facilities and develop content based on trial outcomes.
  • Optimize value creation versus project cost in all feeding trials.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of feed industry experience, preferably in an international organization with global markets.
  • PhD in animal nutrition or a related field.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with experience presenting at conferences.
  • Strong interest in staying updated on the latest knowledge in animal nutrition.
  • Experience with feed formulation, diet design, and protocol.
  • Experience with statistical design and data handling.
  • Insights into industrially recognized standardized methods and legislative reference methods concerning feeding trials.
  • Insights into farm management and feeding regimes, with a broad network of experts, contract research organizations, universities, etc.
  • Strong drive and motivation for execution.
  • Good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A structured and methodical mindset, with strong data analysis skills.
  • The ability to think forward and analytically.
  • Fluent in Danish and English.
