The Position

You will join a dynamic team of +35 ambitious colleagues in a multicultural environment that values strong interpersonal relations. You will report directly to the Senior Director of the department and be a part of the Operations, Finance and Communication team.

The job includes a wide range of tasks supporting WDF's secretariat and Board of Directors. Key responsibilities include preparation of donation agreements, release of project payments, financial tasks and follow-up, HR tasks such as recruitment and onboarding of new employees, dedicated HR support to WDF colleagues, facility management, preparation of meetings, events and conferences, fundraising efforts, and ad-hoc administrative tasks.

About the Role

This is a challenging and broad position that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. As an International Operations Coordinator, your daily tasks will involve:

  • Managing financial tasks including invoices, procurement, interim accounts, and coordinating arrangement and payments;
  • Handling HR tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, recruitment, and providing day-to-day administrative assistance and ad hoc requests;
  • Ensuring occupational health and safety compliance and overseeing facilities management and office logistics;
  • Supporting planning and execution of meetings, events and conferences;
  • Overseeing fundraising efforts and managing income streams;
  • Performing a broad array of ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with administrative and coordinating work;
  • Potential educational background as bachelor or diploma in administration or similar; proficiency in English and Danish both in writing and speaking; additional language skills in e.g. French or Spanish are considered an asset;
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) and other relevant IT tools and platforms;
  • Detail-orientation with a systematic approach to follow-up.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package commensurate with experience, ranging from approximately $55,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
