We are seeking an accomplished Human Resources and Facilities Management Leader to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a key member of our business services functions, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our operations and driving business success.

The Job Description

This dynamic role requires a seasoned professional with outstanding leadership skills, strategic thinking, and operational expertise. You will lead the human resources function in Denmark, developing HR policies and procedures, and managing facilities operations, including safety inspections and maintenance planning. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with staff, managers, and external partners.

As a trusted advisor to our local leadership team, you will provide guidance on employment law, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance and promoting a positive work environment. Your expertise in HRIS systems and Office 365 applications will support your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the human resources function in Denmark, providing advice and support to managers and employees across the employment life cycle.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Danish employment law and regulations.
  • Manage facilities operations, including safety inspections, maintenance planning, and contract negotiations with service providers.
  • Oversee a small team of office support personnel, ensuring effective delivery of facilities services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a positive work environment and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with several years of experience in an HR role.
  • Proven track record of advising at various levels, with the ability to build strong rapport with people.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR principles, methods, and best practices, as well as Danish employment law and regulations.
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience of Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written, spoken, and visual communication skills, with the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality.
