ECD and Humanitarian Portfolio Manager

PlanBørnefonden, one of Denmark's largest privately funded child rights organizations, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead its Early Childhood Care and Education project in Uganda. This role offers a unique opportunity to further develop and strengthen our ECD portfolio, leveraging technical expertise in the humanitarian/nexus space.
The successful candidate will provide overall leadership and project management, ensuring the programme meets its work plans and budgets. Key tasks include project closure, resource mobilization, and reporting, as well as developing and implementing our ECD and humanitarian/nexus profile. Collaboration with national and global colleagues will be essential in identifying critical technical areas and providing technical guidance on ECD, including emergency response and climate resilience.
We are looking for someone with 4+ years of experience managing and coordinating ECD and humanitarian projects, a relevant Master's degree, and fluency in English. Knowledge of French is desirable. The position comes with an estimated salary of 85,000-100,000 DKK per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
