As a Digital Product Manager for PLM, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the chosen PLM solution (Aras) and supporting users according to their current and future needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining the roadmap for the PLM system, including gathering and understanding business needs, ensuring a stable and robust IT platform, and safeguarding data quality.
  • Maintaining continuous dialogue with key business stakeholders to secure alignment between business expectations and PLM deliveries.
  • Gathering business pain points and analyzing business workflows to support the business on its growth journey by delivering digitization initiatives that support the business in their daily work.
  • Acting as a PLM solution architect, heading the design and organization of the development, testing, and deployment of continuous functionality, focusing on scalability, security, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Managing multiple stakeholders in a complex business environment, cross-collaborating with various IT teams, and overseeing and producing communication around the PLM system.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner or Product Manager with a solid track record of managing IT applications, preferably within engineering applications, ultimately Product Lifecycle Management systems. To excel in this role, being able to communicate successfully to and with various stakeholders in a complex business environment is a must. In addition, being able to create and drive the product roadmap, understanding technical problem statements, and ensuring a robust and stable application will be key to success.

Additional requirements include:

  • Previous experience as either an IT Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably within engineering applications.
  • A bachelor's degree, most likely in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Ability to navigate in a complex business environment, managing multiple stakeholders while keeping focus on value-add activities.
  • Good technical understanding and experience working with IT architecture, guiding and leading the way for a stable IT application serving users.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and product management, including experience working with agile IT development.
  • Being proactive, yet a listening and analytical person, serving as the PLM advisor and wing-person to the manager.
  • Fluent in English writing and speaking at a professional, technical level.
  • Having in-depth knowledge around and proven experience managing PLM and/or CAD systems (foremost Aras) is an advantage.
