Position Overview

As an Associate Process Engineer, your role will involve participating in project activities related to design, construction, testing, and validation for a capacity expansion initiative. The primary design focus will be to adopt best-in-class design standards from our other facilities.

Team members actively engage in a proficient user organization, collaborating with engineering partners and overseeing contractor activities. Establishing standards and effectively managing project risks will be essential to ensure structure and transparency. We are flexible in adjusting the responsibilities and level of the position based on your experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing quality and performance standards for assigned projects.

• Participating in regular project meetings and activities (e.g., design reviews, risk assessments, qualification, and validation processes).

• Collaborating and communicating effectively with the project manager and other stakeholders to provide technical support.

• Holding professional accountability for pharmaceutical processes and equipment.

• Offering proactive assistance to the spray drying process during operations, ensuring optimal performance and quality.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical process engineering, marine engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), particularly in technologies related to the purification of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (e.g., spray drying, preparative chromatography, separation, modification, dissolution) is advantageous.

• A comprehensive understanding of unit operations, pharmaceutical processes, and documentation.

• Relevant knowledge of technology trends in bulk manufacturing.

• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
