Lundbeck is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Category Manager to join our Corporate Procurement team. As a key member of our global matrix organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our procurement strategies and driving cost reductions, mitigating risks, and optimizing supplier performance.
About the Role
As a Senior Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive category strategies that align with business goals. You will work closely with our category team and colleagues across 50 Lundbeck affiliates to identify opportunities for cost savings, improve supplier performance, and drive business growth.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies that drive cost reductions, mitigate risks, and optimize supplier performance.
- Act as a trusted business partner to the organization, understanding their specific needs and goals.
- Lead strategic sourcing projects from need identification through contract execution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and establish, negotiate, and manage critical, long-term contracts and contract escalations.
