Product Marketing Manager Role Description

Contractbook is seeking a skilled Product Marketing Manager to drive the success of our product by understanding customer needs, crafting compelling product narratives, and leading go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in product marketing or a related role, be customer-obsessed, tech-savvy, and have a start-up mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Execute Go-to-Market Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product features and releases, ensuring successful launches that drive adoption and engagement.
  2. Be the Expert on Our Target Audience: Understand our prospects and customers, their motivations, and how to inspire them.
  3. Bridge Product and Customer Needs: Work closely with product management to understand the product roadmap, translating technical features into customer-focused benefits.
  4. Own Product Positioning: Craft compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audience, differentiates us in the market, and drives customer acquisition and retention.
  5. Be the Face of the Product: Create and record engaging product videos, delivering clear and compelling narratives that connect with our audience and showcase our product's value.
  6. Drive Demand Generation: Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to design and execute campaigns that generate demand, nurture leads, and accelerate the customer journey.
  7. Customer Insights & Market Research: Gather and analyze customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy and marketing tactics.
  8. Support Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, collateral, and training to effectively communicate the product's value proposition and close deals.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Product Marketing or a Related Role: Your past experiences will be valuable in shaping your success in this role.
  • Customer Obsession: You are passionate about understanding customer needs and are committed to delivering solutions that delight them.
  • Tech-Savviness: You have a strong interest in technology and enjoy staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, including AI and automation.
  • A Start-Up Mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you can move quickly, learn from mistakes, and collaborate across departments.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You can clearly articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences and excel at crafting compelling narratives.
  • Strategic Thinking: You can see the big picture, aligning marketing efforts with business goals while also being detail-oriented and hands-on in execution.
