We invite applications for a Pre-award Grants Advisor position within our team at the Danish National Centre for Climate Research (NCKF). As part of DMI, we strive to conduct critical climate research and advance green transition and climate adaptation. To achieve this goal, we need an experienced advisor who can support researchers in drafting successful research proposals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of European science landscape and experience in working with European funding agencies. They will be responsible for coordinating DMIs research projects and consortia in the proposal phase, screening research calls, and advising researchers on EU research programs.

This role involves close collaboration with a diverse group of researchers, administrative staff, and legal experts from various departments across DMI. The selected candidate will also have the chance to initiate cooperation and networking with international research institutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate DMIs research projects and consortia in the proposal phase
  • Screening of research calls and identification of relevant calls for DMIs area of interest
  • Advice researchers about the possibilities in EU research programs and other relevant programs
  • Contribute to writing part of research proposals, and provide feedback to ongoing applications
  • Provide support on administrative and financial tasks of proposals (including project budgets)
