Automation Robotics Specialist

Position Overview
In the role of Robotics Engineer, you will play a crucial part in supporting our operational processes from the initial design stage through to implementation and ongoing enhancements post-commissioning.
Your key responsibilities will include developing optimized automated solutions with an emphasis on process enhancement and standardization across various operational sectors. Collaboration, standardization, and quality assurance will be at the forefront of your efforts.
You will work closely with a network of project managers, suppliers, and process teams to deliver effective solutions that meet our stringent quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to project teams, confidently presenting to larger audiences, including external suppliers and contractors.
- Lead the identification and design of robotic solutions in close collaboration with project teams and our IT/OT department.
- Employ systematic problem-solving techniques, independently gathering and analyzing data to draw informed conclusions.
Required Qualifications
We seek candidates with the following qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in automation, robotics, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in robotics, preferably within a matrix organizational structure.
- Strong understanding of process flows in IT/Automation and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient stakeholder management skills, ideally gained from working on large-scale projects.
- Fluent in both verbal and written English.

About the Department
The API Project Automation & IT – Manufacturing Expansions department operates within a multi-dimensional matrix framework designed to enhance cross-organizational collaboration. Our mission is to develop and maintain future-ready API production facilities, focusing on robust foundational IT and automation that will support digital evolution.
As part of our department, you will collaborate with colleagues across processes and engineering, as well as various technology partners. Our IT and Automation team is diverse, comprising individuals from various nationalities and professional backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
