Automation Robotics Specialist

Position Overview
As an Automation Robotics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operational processes from the initial design phase through to implementation and ongoing enhancements post-commissioning.
Your key responsibilities will include developing optimized automated solutions aimed at enhancing process efficiency and standardization across various operational areas. A strong emphasis on collaboration, quality, and standardization is essential.
Working closely with a network of project managers, suppliers, and process teams, you will lead the delivery of our automation solutions in a straightforward and effective manner, ensuring adherence to our stringent quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to project teams, confidently presenting to larger audiences, including project stakeholders and external partners.
- Drive the identification and design of robotic solutions in close collaboration with project teams and our IT/OT department.
- Exhibit strong systematic problem-solving skills, facilitating problem resolution, independently collecting and analyzing data, and drawing accurate conclusions in various scenarios.
Required Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in automation, robotics, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in robotics, preferably within a matrix organizational structure.
- A solid understanding of process flows in IT/Automation and systematic problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, ideally gained from experience in larger organizations or complex projects.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.

About the Department
The API Project Automation & IT – Manufacturing Expansions department operates within a multi-dimensional matrix structure designed to promote cross-organizational and cross-functional collaboration. Our mission is to establish and manage future-ready API production facilities, emphasizing robust foundational IT and automation to facilitate digital evolution.
As part of our department, you will collaborate closely with colleagues responsible for engineering and processes, as well as various technology partners, both internally and externally. Our IT and Automation team is diverse, comprising individuals from various nationalities and professional backgrounds. The team environment is inclusive, with members supporting each other in acclimating to the organization and its operations. The dynamic nature of our projects requires flexibility in shifting priorities to meet project milestones effectively.
