Cybersecurity and GDPR Manager at Veo will lead our cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring the protection of our digital assets and customer data.

This key role involves developing and executing an information security strategy, encompassing risk management, incident response, compliance, and security architecture.

The position also encompasses GDPR compliance and demands strong leadership skills and a strategic vision to safeguard our data and systems across all relevant areas, such as hardware and software development, marketing, sales, IT, finance, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with Veo's goals and regulatory requirements.
  2. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard digital assets, sensitive information, and customer access to the Veo platform.
  3. Manage security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  4. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of Veo's operations.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as NIST, GDPR legislation, and penetration testing.
  7. Provide strategic guidance, promoting a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
  8. Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters, including communication with senior leadership, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively address emerging risks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Substantial experience in information security, with a proven track record in a senior leadership role.
  • Professional certifications are highly desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective conveyance of complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, focusing on innovation and continuous improvement.
