We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Analyst to join our recently established Enterprise IT Service Management Organisation, reporting directly to the Practice Manager, Service Asset & Configuration Management.

Job Summary:
This role entails performing Enterprise Asset & Configuration Management tasks, ensuring vendor Advance Shipping Notice files are handled correctly, processing generic requests to build or update assets and/or the CMDB, as well as tickets assigned to the enterprise Asset & Configuration Management queue.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor Advance Shipping Notice files.
  2. Process generic requests to build or update assets and/or the CMDB, as well as tickets assigned to the enterprise Asset & Configuration Management queue.
  3. Ensure ServiceNow's Asset and Configuration models are current and accurate.
  4. Build and verify asset and configuration item records in ServiceNow as part of merger and acquisition projects.
  5. Incorporate new infrastructure devices into the CMDB, documenting all details accurately.
  6. Assist with handling asset and configuration requests related to office closures (transfer assets, update status, update Cis, etc.).
  7. Analyse data to identify discrepancies in assets and configurations.
  8. Monitor asset connectors to ensure ServiceNow's Cis and asset data are updated correctly.
  9. Verify accurate asset-to-configuration item creation.
  10. Collaborate with asset management teams to find and fix missing data records.

Requirements:
Required:

  • A standard ITIL qualification demonstrating a thorough understanding of the ITIL framework and the ability to implement ITIL principles within an IT service management context.
  • Strong familiarity with and understanding of ServiceNow.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to promoting ongoing development and/or change.
  • Outstanding documentation, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Process- and detail-oriented, using a deliberate and systematic approach to achieve objectives.
  • The ability to quickly build relationships with colleagues and the organisation by establishing productive working connections and demonstrating strong communication and persuasion skills.
  • The capacity to embrace change, be comfortable with uncertainty, and foster a collaborative mindset.

Preferred:

  • An information technology bachelor's degree or a similar degree.

Location:
This role is available at any of our Modern Hardware offices worldwide. Our offices in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, or Norway are examples of Nordic locations. We have various opportunities across the globe.

Estimated Salary:
$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
