Position Overview:
This role is part of our newly established Enterprise IT Service Management Organisation, reporting directly to the Practice Manager, Service Asset & Configuration Management.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

  1. Maintaining accurate vendor Advance Shipping Notice files
  2. Processing generic requests to build or update assets and/or the CMDB, as well as tickets assigned to the enterprise Asset & Configuration Management queue
  3. Ensuring ServiceNow's Asset and Configuration models are up-to-date
  4. In ServiceNow, building and verifying asset and configuration item records during merger and acquisition projects, collaborating with Asset Management Specialists to guarantee accuracy
  5. Integrating new infrastructure devices, such as UPSs, printers, AVIs, and other equipment, into the CMDB, ensuring detailed documentation
  6. Supporting the handling of asset and configuration requests related to office closure, including transferring assets, updating status, and updating Cis
  7. Identifying and resolving discrepancies in assets and configurations through data analysis, monitoring asset connectors to ensure ServiceNow's Cis and asset data are updated appropriately
  8. Verifying accurate asset-to-configuration item creation
  9. Collaborating with asset management teams to find and resolve missing data records

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A standard ITIL qualification with a deep understanding of the ITIL framework and the ability to implement ITIL principles within an IT service management context
  • Strong familiarity with and understanding of ServiceNow
  • Zest and commitment to promote ongoing development and/or change
  • Outstanding documentation, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Process- and detail-oriented, employing a deliberate and systematic approach to achieve objectives
  • The ability to quickly win over colleagues and the organisation by establishing productive working relationships and demonstrating strong communication and persuasion skills

Preferred Qualifications:
An information technology bachelor's degree or a similar degree would be advantageous.

Estimated Salary:
$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This role is available at any WSP office worldwide, with opportunities in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, or Norway, among others.
