Technical Expert for Diagnostic Instrumentation

Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Technical Expert to join our team at Agilent Technologies. As a Global Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in defining and enabling Field Service Engineers and external Service Providers to service pathology equipment in the field.
About the Role: Reporting into the Global Service Operations Team in Glostrup, Denmark, you will be responsible for ensuring that ADS is a World Class Diagnostic Service Organization. This involves developing, maintaining, and updating service documentation, including service manuals, checklists, training materials, and service bulletins/notes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support FSEs/RSS from around the world: Provide technical escalation support via phone, email, and possible travel.
- Conduct Instrument Trainings: Deliver on-site trainings, create video content, and develop online instrument training programs.
- Develop Service Documentation: Create and maintain service manuals, checklists, training materials, and service bulletins/notes.
- Manage Spare Parts: Define and manage spare parts, including creation and obsolescence, recommended trunk stock, etc.
- Monitor Product and Service Issues: Drive resolutions through service forums and stakeholders.
- Represent Service in R&D Meetings: Ensure service and serviceability are key parameters in future versions of instruments/solutions.
- Collaborate with Suppliers and Partners: Participate in meetings to secure service requirements are met.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Service experience.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience conducting courses and technical writing.
- AV production skills.
- Good analytical skills and ability to comprehend larger processes or data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and positive mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
