Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Partner to join our team at The LEGO Group. As a key member of our Strategy & Transformation function, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and Operations leadership team to drive strategic initiatives and projects
  • Work closely with the Strategy Partner Team to develop and implement strategic plans and solutions
  • Provide business partnering support to the COO and his leadership team, including analysis, problem-solving, and communication
  • Ensure strategic initiatives progress and track well, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders
  • Constructively challenge and provide sparring to senior leaders on strategic topics to improve decision making
  • Translate the Operations strategy into clear and concise communication for the COO and senior leadership group
  • Support the COO in ensuring his leadership team meetings and processes are run well and driving effective and efficient decision making
  • Prepare materials on behalf of the COO for input and/or decision-making from the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors

Requirements

  • Masters' degree in Economics, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, or a similar field
  • Minimum 6 years professional experience in business partnering, operations, or a related field
  • Passion for Operations and functional experience
  • Outstanding business partnering skills at an executive level and ability to build a strong network within the organisation
  • Top-notch quantitative and analytical skills to extract logic, insights, and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems
  • Time spent with an international company working with key stakeholders across different markets, preferably in a strategic capacity
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global colleagues, including working with different cultures, in different time zones, and in different formats
  • Excellent communication skills to structure documents in convincing storylines and presentations for executive level interaction
  • A 'can do'-attitude to ensure things are acted upon in a fast-paced environment
