We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grants Controller to join our team at PlanBørnefonden. As a Grants Controller, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of grants and projects, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and providing financial guidance to programme managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial monitoring and reporting of projects and grants
  • Advising programme managers on donor requirements and guidelines
  • Ensuring compliance with donor regulations and guidelines
  • Coordinating with country offices to resolve audit irregularities
  • Participating in the application process for new project funding
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience in financial management. You should be able to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner and have a high level of professionalism and accuracy. Experience in the NGO sector is not required, but you should be willing to learn and adapt to our systems and processes.

Requirements
  • Relevant higher education in economics or a related field
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Ability to travel abroad 3-4 times a year
  • Interest in digital tools and systems
