NB This position is offered on a temporary basis until 30.06.2025, however there may be the possibility for extension. 

About the job:

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team Consolidation, Reporting & Finance Transformation (ASFX) in Copenhagen at the earliest possible start date. 

This position offers a grant scheme of exciting consolidation and accounting tasks while ensuring the helicopter view for our financials.

Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for consolidating the different SATAIR legal entities and business units. You will be part of the monthly, quarterly and annual closings and will ensure that all data is reported accurately and on time. In this role you will also participate in different audit activities and will be involved in impactful tax and accounting projects.

Some of your tasks in detail:

  • Support to collect the financial data from the different sources and entities and consolidate them in one financial report. Do your part to ensure that the closings are done on quality and on time

  • Perform and support the eliminations of intercompany transactions, in accordance with Accounting and Consolidation regulations

  • Identify and explain differences between the different financial reports and systems

  • Interact with the Finance Teams in Airbus (Group Accounting and Consolidation) as well as the SATAIR Accounting and Controlling teams

  • Assess and perform accounting restatements and coordinate postings in local and group ledgers

  • Provide documentation and explanation to our financial auditors

  • Be the focal point for specific Accounting, Consolidation and Tax projects and represent the SATAIR consolidation department


 

What do you need to bring? 

  • Degree in business administration, economics, Finance or similar

  • Experience working in Accounting, Consolidation or similar for several years

  • Analytical skills and familiar with accounting and consolidation processes

  • Familiar with Accounting standards (IFRS)

  • Experience in working with ERP systems, e.g. SAP

  • Experience in working with Microsoft Excel and / or Google Sheets

  • Independent and responsible-minded way of working

  • Ability to coordinate different stakeholders and to communicate transparently

  • Can do spirit / Positive attitude 

  • Fluent English in spoken and written language
