Lead the Way in Renewable Energy

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, S.A. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Team Lead Transport Equipment & Return. As a key member of our Offshore Execution Equipment Management (EQM) team, you will be responsible for elevating the transport equipment (TEQ) and return flow management to the next level.

The EQM team is responsible for delivering tools, transport, and installation equipment to our global offshore execution project portfolio, internal blade and nacelle factories, and our tower vendors. As the Team Lead Transport Equipment & Return, you will be the core interface to our COG organization, owning on-time delivery of all required transport equipment to Nacelle / Blade factories and external Tower suppliers.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Shaping and developing the Transport Equipment and Equipment Return Flow Team, by setting the direction both in terms of operational management and strategic development / process improvements.
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of required TEQ to factories and external vendors, enabling undisrupted production.
  • Optimizing the TEQ delivery process to SGRE Offshore factories and external tower suppliers.
  • Leading the implementation of pro-active return flow management of tools & equipment and transport equipment from our offshore execution projects and service.
  • Actively managing the core stakeholders, i.e., across the offshore factories and all relevant central COG interfaces.
  • Driving the development of both, the highly motivated members of the Transport Equipment & Return individually and the team overarchingly.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in management, supply chain management, logistics, or a similar field.
  • Leadership skills, either displayed by first-line management exposure or in managing cross-functional project teams.
  • The ability to pro-actively navigate a complex stakeholder environment and build a sustainable network.
  • Previous experience in the wind power industry and a profound understanding of the TEQ and return flow process is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Pro-activeness, drive, and persistence.
  • The ability to communicate confidently in English across all levels of the organization, including senior/executive management.
