We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Researcher to join our team at the Center for Grundtvig Studies and the School of Culture and Society, Aarhus University. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in Grundtvig Studies and Digital Scholarship, with a focus on digital philology and editorial processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research in Grundtvig Studies and Digital Scholarship, with a focus on digital philology and editorial processes.
- Develop and head research projects of relevance to the field of Grundtvig Studies, preferably with an emphasis on digital scholarly editions and digital textual methods.
- Participate in collective research projects and pursue external research funding.
- Supervise PhD students and contribute to the development and implementation of PhD courses in the field of Grundtvig Studies, 19th Century Studies, and Digital Scholarship.
- Engage in knowledge exchange, including research cooperation with private companies, government consultancy, and the public dissemination of knowledge.
- PhD or equivalent qualifications in digital philology or related areas of research.
- Research and teaching qualifications equivalent to those acquired in a senior researcher position.
- Documented experience in digital philology and editorial processes.
- Strong, relevant international publication profile.
- Experience of participation in collective research projects.
- Successful teaching experience in areas of relevance.
- Participation in national and international networks, as well as experience of interdisciplinary cooperation.
- Experience of attracting external research funding.
- Experience of supervising student projects.
- Experience in Digital Scholarly Editing.
