About the Role

The Position

As a Project Financial Controller at Novo Nordisk, you will work closely with colleagues, including Project Director, Project Portfolio Manager, Senior Project Managers, and peers within the financial organization.

Key responsibilities include participating in year- and month-end project closing, ensuring timely and compliant postings and accruals, managing budget and forecasting on assigned projects, and driving financial analyses and insights.

Additionally, you will contribute to activities throughout the life cycle of investment projects, ensuring project governance compliance and supporting payments executions.

Qualifications include an academic degree in finance, accounting, or business administration, coupled with practical financial controlling experience. Solid experience working with the Microsoft Office Package and ERP systems, preferably SAP, is also required.

Desirable skills include Business Intelligence suites, preferably Power BI, and knowledge of VAT and Customs finance related operations.

About the Department

You will join a finance team consisting of 27-30 people, with half of the team members non-Danish and from 11 different countries. The department is split into three teams: Business Finance, Production Finance, and Investment Management.

This position resides in the Investment Management team and reports directly to the Director. You will become part of a team that is driven, highly experienced, and dedicated to helping each other shine and caring for one another.
