About the RoleThis is a key leadership position responsible for developing and implementing demand forecasting models to ensure accurate predictions of customer demand. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities- Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain complex statistical models to forecast customer demand, taking into account historical trends, market conditions, and seasonal fluctuations.
- Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure seamless inventory management, effective resource allocation, and timely delivery of products to customers.
- Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify areas of improvement, optimize forecasting models, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Communication and Reporting: Present findings and recommendations to senior management, sales teams, and other stakeholders, using clear and concise language and visual aids.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful demand forecasting models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with advanced forecasting tools and software.
