In this role, you will manage cross-organizational projects, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to gather diverse perspectives and ensure their involvement in the projects. You will also collaborate closely with project managers to seamlessly integrate change management activities into existing project plans.
Key accountabilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to the project team.
- Evaluate project progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop project business cases, capture data, and define success metrics/KPIs to measure the effectiveness of change initiatives.
- Establish project governance and provide project steerco with necessary information for guidance.
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.
- Identify and involve necessary resources in the project.
- Ensure proper documentation during the project and deliver a well-documented handover of improvements to operations.
- Evaluate project processes and lessons learned.
You will work directly with internal customers to ensure deliverables fall within project scope. You will coordinate with other departments to ensure compatibility of all project aspects.
As part of our COO team, you will actively engage in process improvement discussions and key findings to drive business towards utilising agile methodologies. You will proactively identify problems to be solved and personally engage in implementing solutions.
About You
We seek a highly motivated individual with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, possess great problem-solving skills, and be willing to take on responsibility to drive change management.
The successful candidate should have significant commercial project management experience in a complex, dynamic environment, combined with project management skills and a 'toolbox' to manage various challenges as they emerge. A good understanding of driving and implementing projects and change in a large organization is essential.
