SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is approximately DKK 425,000 - 550,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Job DescriptionThis fixed-term position spans 24 months, commencing on January 1st, 2025. As a postdoctoral fellow, you will contribute to the research project Radical Pietism in Northern Europe: Social Protest on the Verge of Modernity, 1690-1750, led by Associate Professor Juliane Engelhardt.
Your primary responsibility will be to analyze radical Pietist practices in their context, exploring alternative ways of achieving influence in the public sphere among individuals without formal power or strong bookish training.
You will be expected to provide an outline of your approach and conduct the project, drawing from your expertise in cultural history, sociology, history of ideas, art history, or religious history.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Appointment as a postdoc requires research qualifications on at least PhD level, obtained no earlier than September 22nd, 2018.
- Proficiency in written and spoken academic English at a high level is essential, with a working knowledge of German also required.
