Job Description

This role involves driving Monta's legal efforts, ensuring compliance as we scale our global operations. The successful candidate will be part of a small, high-performing team, contributing to strategic decisions across our international operations.

The Key Legal Advisor will collaborate closely with leadership and internal stakeholders, engaging with external partners to negotiate agreements, mitigate conflicts, and ensure compliance in a fast-paced regulatory landscape.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A background as a qualified lawyer or a similar commercial law role, ideally with EU experience and knowledge of core markets (Denmark, Germany, UK, Sweden, Norway, France, Austria, Spain, and the United States).
  • At least 3+ years of professional experience in corporate/commercial law acquired in a top law firm or a renowned company's legal department.
  • Strong drafting skills, including contracts, policies, and disclosures. Excellent oral and written communication skills for both legal and non-legal audiences.
  • Ability to initiate and manage projects with external counsel while considering privacy and security when developing solutions.
