About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our team at ABB A/S. As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial offers based on customer specifications, local business unit directives, and sales organization requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit high-quality bids that meet customer requirements and ABB's standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely and proactive communication.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, taxes, and insurance teams, to ensure a smooth bid process.
- Analyze project proposals and cost plans, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Define costs for proposed solutions and communicate with the sales organization.
- Collaborate with procurement teams and maintain support from internal and third-party suppliers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy industry.
- Experience in engineering and project execution is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of market requirements and standards within the industry is a plus.
