About the Role

This position plays a vital part in our sales team, focusing on bid management and sales operations. As a Bid Manager, you will support customers in improving efficiency, saving resources, and reducing emissions. This role is ideal for a communicative person with a customer-oriented approach and high level of personal responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit, and Sales organization directives.
Be the single interface towards customers and ensure timely and proactive communication.
Responsible for the bid during the whole sales phase, from lead until signing the contract.
Set up and collaborate with ABB group functions, such as Legal, Finance, Taxes, and Insurance.
Use experience and understanding to add to the Bid plans and decision-making as the tendering process evolves.
Coordinate with the procurement team and maintain support from internal and third-party suppliers.
Analyze project proposals and cost plans and prepare for risk review.
Defines cost for the proposed solution and communicates to the Sales organization.

Requirements

Minimum 5 year's experience in the energy industries.
Experience in engineering and project execution is an advantage.
Ability to work independently, but with a strong team-oriented attitude.
Good communication skills.
Preferably experience in solution sales or project management.
Knowledge about market requirements and standards within the industry is positive.
Experienced candidates will be considered even if their formal education is not according to the requirement above.
