Customs Broker Agent

Maersk is a global leader in container logistics, aiming to revolutionize trade through digital transformation. We are seeking a skilled Customs Broker Agent to support customs export processes and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and efficient customer service and support, ensuring client needs are met.
  • Offer solutions to challenges and resolve issues critical to improving performance and profitability for both the company and the customer.
  • Continuously follow up on customs clearance and compliance processes to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in customer visits to promote Customs products when required.
  • Communicate and liaise with stakeholders, including Customs Authorities, Maersk offices, and the customer's organization, to build strong relationships and ensure mutual benefit.

We are looking for:

  • A degree in International Trade or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Customs agent, with a strong understanding of export processes in various modes and customs locations.
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, forwarding, and shipping.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to ensure high-level communication with key stakeholders and internal team members.
  • Collaboration skills and the ability to multi-task at a high level.
  • Strong process-oriented approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Resilient team player who is goal-oriented and demonstrates a high level of commitment, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English (B2 or higher is mandatory).
