Production Finance Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Finance Partner to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the financial management of inbound materials used in our internal manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to the business area, providing strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Drive the financial management by proactively aligning with the line of business on the financial plan, product costing, inventory, raw material consumption, purchase price variance, production variance, scrap, and inventory provisions.
- Ensure financial compliance and house in order by aligning on accounting treatment and cost classifications with the Global Finance team.
- Drive continuous improvement of financial and control processes, further strengthening the connection between business plans, activities, and resources to ensure value creation.
- Be a key player in driving our systems and standards to the next level and setting the scene for further analyses.
Requirements
- Hold a master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, coupled with hands-on experience in a comparable role within a large organization.
- Demonstrate a strong financial background and a process-oriented mindset with an interest to map, streamline, and optimize processes.
- Showcase a structured way with a sharp eye for details and thrive in setting direction for finance integration and handling of product costing.
- Possess solid stakeholder management and collaboration skills, along with good communication and presentation abilities.
- Display proficiency in both written and spoken English.
About the Department
You will be joining a finance team consisting of 27-30 members, where half of the people are non-Danish coming from 11 different countries. We drive the financial management and investment governance for the SVP area called External Supply in Novo Nordisk.
