**Job Opportunity: Postdoctoral Fellowship at Københavns Universitet**

The Saxo Institute, part of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Copenhagen, is seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join their team. This fixed-term position will be available starting January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful candidate will contribute to the research project "Radical Pietism in Northern Europe: Social Protest on the Verge of Modernity, 1690-1750", funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark and headed by Associate Professor Juliane Engelhardt. The project focuses on how radical Pietists translated their conversion into distinct styles, exploring alternative ways of achieving influence in the public sphere.

To succeed in this role, applicants should have a strong background in cultural history, sociology, history of ideas, art history, or religious history, with a PhD obtained no earlier than September 2018. Proficiency in written and spoken academic English, as well as the ability to read German, are essential requirements. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to live in Denmark during the scholarship and participate in the intellectual life of the Institute and the larger UCPH community.

**Requirements and Qualifications**
  • A PhD degree in a relevant field of research, acquired within the past six years.
  • Strong publication record, including peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
  • Experience with research organization, collaborations, and international relations.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills.
