About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Specialist to join our Enterprise Foundation department at Saxo Bank, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

This first-line role involves close collaboration with the business, utilizing your regulatory expertise to support the organization's compliance goals across the global entity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive compliance gap analyses, identifying and implementing controls and mitigation strategies to address relevant legislation.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory developments in technology and operational resilience, assessing their impact on Saxo Bank and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various departments, coordinating efforts to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Contribute to our compliance culture by providing education and support to employees on regulatory matters, policies, and procedures.
  • Support international offices in maintaining regulatory compliance across diverse jurisdictions, leveraging knowledge of compliance best practices.
  • Ensure the Enterprise Foundation area remains compliant with Danish and European relevant legislations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant regulatory experience, preferably within the financial sector, focusing on technology, operational resilience, and/or resolution.
  • An academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, Audit, or similar fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.
  • A documented track record of leading and delivering projects independently from start to finish.
  • Critical assessment and improvement of compliance processes and delivery of regulatory products.
  • International or cross-cultural experience, with a passion for working with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of Danish is an advantage.
