About the Job

The Department of Neuroscience at the University of Copenhagen is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our research team. The successful applicant will work on a project focused on understanding the neuronal mechanisms involved in memory and cognition using systems neuroscience and population-level approaches.

The project involves conducting Neuropixels recordings from awake rodents, performing circuit manipulation, and analyzing spiking data at the population level. This research will take place at the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Copenhagen in Dr. Peter C. Petersen's lab.

As a postdoctoral fellow, you will play a major role in all aspects of the project, including designing and performing experiments, developing technical advances, performing data analysis, and presenting the results.

Requirements

">

You have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or other related sciences. Experience in electrophysiology is required. An active interest in the brain's memory mechanisms is essential. Proficient communication skills and ability to work in teams are also necessary.
