Job Description:

As an Urban Development Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for leading our external communications and marketing efforts. This includes developing a marketing and communication strategy that aligns with our mission and objectives, providing strategic guidance and prioritizing marketing and communication efforts, crafting and managing compelling content for various channels, establishing and maintaining relationships with media outlets and other key stakeholders, monitoring and analyzing marketing and communication metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Marketing and Communication Strategy: Create a comprehensive strategy that aligns with our mission and objectives.
  • Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer expert advice on marketing and communication efforts to ensure we achieve our goals.
  • Craft Compelling Content: Develop engaging content for various channels, including website, social media, newsletters, press releases, and more.
  • Establish Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and other key stakeholders to enhance our brand presence.
  • Monitor and Analyze Metrics: Track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions to improve our marketing and communication efforts.

We offer a competitive compensation package, estimated to be in the range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
