As a Senior Finance Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our greenfield project by driving budget processes, supporting the monthly closing process, and providing accurate and timely reporting on project performance.
Key Responsibilities- Drive budget processes and monthly follow-ups to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support the monthly closing process and ensure high-quality accounting practices.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on project performance, including cost analysis and monthly reporting to management and the steering group.
- Collaborate closely with project cost controllers and be responsible for monthly controlling documentation.
- Drive optimizations and streamline processes within cost controlling.
- Collaborate closely with the other Project Control disciplines to ensure effective project management and control.
- Financial background with a master's degree or bachelor's degree within Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar.
- 3-5 years of experience in cost controlling and working with financial analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of cost control principles, budgeting and forecasts. Previous experience with large scale projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of earned value analysis, planning and scheduling techniques, risk management, and change management.
- Knowledge of project management software and tools, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential in this role.
The Senior Finance Controller position is based in the Cost Controlling team in the PMO department. Our team supports all project tracks in all aspects of cost controlling. Our culture has a one team mindset, and you will join a team of experienced, highly skilled and positive colleagues.
