About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Finance Controller to join our team at Novo Nordisk. As a key member of the Cost Controlling team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of our project in Odense. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving budget processes, monthly follow-ups, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive budget processes and monthly follow-ups.
  2. Support the monthly closing process and ensure high-quality accounting practices.
  3. Provide accurate and timely reporting on project performance, including cost analysis and monthly reporting to management and the steering group.
  4. Collaborate closely with project cost controllers and be responsible for monthly controlling documentation.
  5. Drive optimizations and streamline processes within cost controlling.
  6. Collaborate closely with other Project Control disciplines to ensure effective project management and control.

Requirements

  1. A financial background with a master's degree or bachelor's degree within Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in cost controlling and working with financial analysis.
  3. In-depth knowledge of cost control principles, budgeting, and forecasts.
  4. Previous experience with large-scale projects is an advantage.
  5. Knowledge of earned value analysis, planning, and scheduling techniques, risk management, and change management.
  6. Knowledge of project management software and tools, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  7. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential in this role.

About the Department

The Senior Finance Controller position is based in the Cost Controlling team in the PMO department. Our team supports all project tracks in all aspects of cost controlling.
