We're seeking a skilled Business Development professional to drive municipal waste business growth at Alfa Laval. This exciting opportunity will involve establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships.
As a full-time employee, you'll report directly to the Global Sales Manager Water & Waste and collaborate closely with the Water & Waste Global Sales teams and sales companies. Your primary focus will be on driving municipal waste as a key growth area for Alfa Laval.
Main ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with consultants, key accounts, engineering companies, contractors, and end users.
- Positioning Alfa Laval as the trusted advisor for municipal waste management.
- Developing and implementing effective business strategies to enhance market presence and profitability.
- Fostering strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
- Conducting customer visits to present and support the sales of municipal waste solutions.
You'll also contribute to sustainability initiatives for water and waste and enable Service offerings as an integral part of the municipal waste portfolio.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor or Master of Science (MSc) degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on experience within the industry.
- Strong use of digital sales tools.
- Extensive expertise and proficiency in decanter operations, maintenance, and optimization.
- Practical experience in wastewater treatment processes, technologies, and regulations.
- Proven track record in driving business growth, identifying opportunities, and fostering strategic partnerships.
The position is located in Søborg, Copenhagen, and offers a dynamic and collaborative working environment. Travel is expected to be approximately 60-70 days a year.
