About the Job

We are looking for a talented software engineer with a passion for technology and ecommerce to join our Commerce Storefront team at Unity Technologies ApS. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the development of our platform and improve the discovery and purchase experience of Unity subscription and pay-as-you-go products.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that works closely with both other Commerce team and the product teams of each offering on the store. We strive for seamless collaboration and tight timelines, ensuring the success of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of software development from design/architecture through implementation, testing, and maintenance, building features that facilitate the development and operation of Commerce Platform storefront UI and API end-points.
  • Support teammates in code quality, operational excellence, and shared learning.
  • Actively engage with internal teams and assist them in resolving any challenges or questions they may have.
  • Collaborate with our product manager, stakeholders, and customers to understand friction points, proposed solutions, and encourage the adoption of our tooling.
  • Proactively participate in refinement and strategy sessions with the team, promoting collaboration and mutual assistance.

Requirements

  • Comfortable with modern front-end technologies such as Next.js, React, and/or back-end technologies such as Go.
  • A strong ability to design, develop and maintain high-quality front end architecture and/or API gateway solutions.
  • Solid communication skills and experience working closely with other teams and stakeholders.
  • High standards for code quality, testing and performance.
  • Knowledge and experience with CI/CD best practices.
