About the Role

At Genmab, we're committed to driving innovation and excellence in our development processes. As Associate Director, Development Strategic Sourcing, you will play a critical role in shaping our strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end contracting and outsourcing process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective contract execution.
  • Develop and implement leading practices to improve value, minimize risk, and enhance quality in our development pipeline.
  • Build and lead a global team of outsourcing professionals, providing guidance and support for their career development and performance management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align category strategies and drive business outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on future best practices, leveraging lessons learned from risk, performance, and relationship management.
  • Supervise category strategies and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Oversee the request for outsourcing process and refine the vendor evaluation process to ensure comprehensive vendor performance assessments.
  • Support the team in vendor evaluation and enable vendor selection, driving contract process execution for master service agreements and monetary agreements.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in clinical outsourcing in the bio-pharmaceutical industry or from a contract research organization or other relevant clinical services providers.
  • +7 years' experience in a multidisciplinary environment or line function.
  • +5 years' experience with people management, preferably in a matrix environment.
  • +3 years' experience with cross-functional team leadership.
  • Multisite or international experience is preferred.
  • Well-founded negotiation and vendor management experience.
  • Strong knowledge in process management.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of clinical drug development.
  • Solid experience with working in a matrixed business environment, leading multiple commitments and collaborators while prioritizing conflicting demands, maintaining focus on the objective, and providing high-quality service to both internal and external partners.
