Compensation and Benefits Specialist

MFT Energy, a leading energy trading company, is seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join its Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing global payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employee wages. You will work closely with the People Operations and Legal teams to maintain accurate master data and ensure compliance with local rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payrolls for all employees, ensuring accuracy and global compliance.
  • Manage payroll-related tasks, including bonus calculations, reimbursements, and benefits administration.
  • Maintain and update the salary process to ensure it is as automated as possible.
  • Ensure payroll audit controls and formalized processes are in place.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes and audit-related matters.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from colleagues.
  • Update data in relation to parental leave, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Onboard new payroll solutions around the world.
  • Assist with visa applications.
  • Collaborate with People Operations to ensure optimal on- and offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with Legal in relation to employment-related matters and policy interpretation.

Requirements:

  • Relevant educational background.
  • Proven experience working with global payroll procedures.
  • Knowledge of best practice payroll procedures and tax regulations.
  • Experience with Excel and Zenegy is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and structure your workload.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
