Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Professor in Microbiology and Molecular Biology to join our team at the University of Southern Denmark. As a Clinical Professor, you will be responsible for leading research and teaching activities in the field of clinical microbiology and molecular biology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in clinical microbiology and molecular biology, with a focus on developing new diagnostic tools and treatments for infectious diseases.
  • Teach and mentor students in the Department of Clinical Research and the Research Unit of Clinical Microbiology.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to develop and implement new research projects and clinical trials.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program, with a focus on securing external funding and publishing research findings in top-tier journals.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to students, colleagues, and other stakeholders on matters related to clinical microbiology and molecular biology.

Requirements
