About the Center
The Center for Translational Neuromedicine is part of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. Our center focuses on the interactions between cortical neurons and astrocytes in the context of learning and memory. To this end, various molecular genetic tools are engineered for cellular manipulation and functional visualization.
Our Research Group
The Hirase group is a multi-disciplinary team engaged in neuroscience research. We have 55 employees and students, and our center comprises newly constructed laboratories with excellent facilities for neuroscience.
What You Will Do
- Support our research team with genotyping of transgenic mice and maintenance of transgenic mouse colonies
- Analyze and curate transcriptomic data using R and other related software
- Document various protocols for experiments conducted in the laboratory
Your Profile
- A highly motivated and enthusiastic academic employee with programming skills in R and advanced knowledge in molecular genomics and transcriptomics
- Able to use statistical analysis packages with correct knowledge and fluent in English skills, written and spoken
- Helpful and a good colleague
