We are seeking highly competent and motivated researchers to join our team at the Globe Institute, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. The successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in proteomic research and a strong background in biochemistry or related fields.

The positions are funded by the ERC Advanced Grant "BACKWARD", which aims to advance knowledge about human evolution and adaptation using palaeoproteomics. Our group develops and applies MS-based proteomic methods to sequence proteins from fossil remains, beyond the limits of ancient DNA preservation.

As a researcher in our team, you will contribute to the development of new proteomic methods and their application to ancient protein analysis. You will work closely with our international network of colleagues to integrate your results with previous knowledge from other approaches.

We offer a dynamic and inclusive work environment, with a diverse team of researchers from around the world. The successful candidate will be part of a highly integrated team, working closely with doctoral and postdoctoral members with expertise in various areas, including paleoanthropology, bioinformatics, and ancient protein biochemistry.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around 65,000 - 80,000 DKK per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The average weekly working hours are 37 hours per week, and the positions are fixed-term limited to a period of 18-23 months.
