Are you a motivated and dynamic researcher looking to advance your career in parasitology? We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoc to join our team at the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, University of Copenhagen.
Job OverviewThis is a fixed-term position for 2 years, commencing on 1 February 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The postdoc will be part of the Parasites, Immunology and Gut Health (PIGH) group, working on projects centered around exploring how the gut environment shapes type-2 immunity.
Responsibilities- Carry out research involving dietary manipulations, breeding, and experimental parasite infections of mice
- Conduct immunological analyses such as multiparameter flow cytometry and single-cell RNA-sequencing
- Serve as co-supervisor for PhD and MSc students and contribute to the overall research goals of the group
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic scientist with a PhD in parasitology or immunology. Essential experience and skills include:
- FELASA accreditation or equivalent
- Experience with immunology techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, and Western Blotting
- Demonstrated record of peer-reviewed publications
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in teams

The average weekly working hours are 37 hours per week. Salary starts at approximately 4,700 EUR per month, depending on qualifications.
