Seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our dynamic team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research (CPR) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
About the PositionWe are looking for an enthusiastic scientist with expertise in chromatin biology, next-generation sequencing, and data analysis to develop novel epigenetic approaches for cancer treatment.
This 3-year position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with world-renowned researchers and contribute to cutting-edge research projects in the field of cancer epigenetics and proteomics.
About the ProjectThe successful candidate will work on developing rationale for novel epigenetic approaches for cancer treatment using genome-editing techniques and state-of-the-art genomics.
This project aims to elucidate how chromatin organization and function is propagated during mitotic cell division to maintain genome and epigenome stability.
About the TeamThe Groth group is a diverse and multidisciplinary team with many scientific collaborations nationally and internationally.
We have a strong focus on collaborative research, idea sharing, and using creative problem-solving tools to develop our research projects.
Our translational focus connects us to our spin-out company Ankrin Therapeutics, and we plan to move to the Danish Cancer Institute (DCI) in 2025.
About the SalaryThe monthly salary for this position starts at approximately €4,700 (DKK 35,000), with the possibility of supplements based on qualifications.
The employer will also pay an additional 17.1% to your pension fund.
