Vestas, a global leader in renewable energy, is seeking a skilled Commodity Lead to join its Global Procurement team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans for low voltage cables, ensuring optimal procurement setups and supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global commodity strategies for low voltage cables, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Manage procurement-related activities in cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, and contracting processes, ensuring optimal supplier relationships and performance management.
  • Drive supplier consolidation and supply chain optimization initiatives, leveraging total landed cost and strategic roadmap development.
  • Provide procurement deliverables for new product introductions and contract management, ensuring compliance with NDAs, Purchase Agreements, and Price Agreements.
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives, actively contributing to Commodity and Module KPI governance and target achievement.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field or minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP (ARIBA).
  • Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing, as our corporate language.
